What this site is

The Plug Ledger is a reference on wooden surf plugs, surfcasting tackle, water conditions and the workshop decisions that connect them. It is written as a field guide rather than a shop catalogue. The entries describe shapes and mechanics, not a claim that one maker or one color wins everywhere.

The site uses a small editorial desk, a local image library and a deterministic static build. That keeps the pages quick to read and makes the difference between editorial text and a changing external rule visible.

Publisher and contact

Corrections, disagreements and useful additions are welcome. Write to [email protected]. Messages are read by one person and used to answer the question or review the correction; there is no mailing list attached to the address.

The site is hosted as static files on Cloudflare Pages. No form, account, comment system or visitor profile is built into the publication.

Privacy and reuse

There is no analytics script, tag manager, advertising code, remote font, embedded video or third-party library on these pages. The host may keep infrastructure logs under its own terms. If you send an email, the message stays in the normal correspondence needed to reply.

Text and images are original to this publication or retained local assets. Quote a short passage with a link to its page. For longer print or commercial reuse, write first so the context and attribution stay clear.

Fishing and safety

Rules differ by place and season, and surf conditions change faster than a static page can. Check the current official rule source and local beach warnings before fishing. The notes on this site are educational context, not legal advice, a forecast or a substitute for a safety course.
